On November 6, Riga will host one of the most important economic forums in Latvia – the World Latvian Economic and Innovation Forum (PLEIF), which will be dedicated to Riga's growth opportunities and the international competitiveness of the city.

7th Annual Forum will take place at the Splendid Palace cinema and will be the subject of the Riga City Development Plans and possible involvement of the diaspora. The measure will be divided into three thematic areas: business and investment, labour, real estate. Three expert presentations on business development in Riga and the potential of Riga will be entered in each of the parts, followed by discussions.

As an international city and the Baltic State Centre, Riga has many advantages and existing future plans, which mark Riga as an internationally competitive and dynamic city and a hub for economic growth. Conference participants - foreign businessmen and local experts will share their positive experience in Riga and what Riga is able to offer to world-class entrepreneurs, investors and talent,” says PBLA Chairman Kristīne Saulīte.

PLEIF aims to boost Latvia's economic growth by strengthening cooperation between professionals working in different business sectors in Latvia and the world, promoting innovation, attracting financial and knowledge capital to Latvia, as well as strengthening Latvian citizenship outside Latvia.

PLEIF-2021 will take place in the big hall of Splendid Palace. We call on participants to be present and participate virtually, both in Latvia and from around the world, according to the circumstances. The working language of the Forum will be English with translation to Latvian.
