• Pre-Incubation Programme - an opportunity for Latvian companies established within the last 3 years to develop innovative or export-oriented products.

• Support for process digitisation: support to streamline various business processes through digitisation (open);

• Innovation voucher support: an opportunity for Latvian entrepreneurs to develop new products and technologies in cooperation with research organisations (open);

• Start-up support: an opportunity for Latvian start-ups to develop and commercialise innovative ideas, products, or processes.

• Bilateral Cooperation Fund of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism: opportunities for Latvian entrepreneurs to inspire, learn and network with partners in Norway (support for specific activities);

• LIAA regularly offers plenty of free lectures, online and face-to-face seminars that can be useful for business development. Planned events can be found under EVENTS, and recordings of many past events can be found under MATERIALS.

Various types of export support under the SME programme (open):

• Export support action plan – an opportunity to strengthen your export capacity through various activities;

• Participation in national exhibitions organised by LIAA;

• Participation in trade missions organised by LIAA;

• Participation in LIAA-organised visits abroad by high-ranking state officials;

• Support for organising international sports events and exhibitions in Latvia (open).

Programmes currently implementing projects that will be reopened later

• Business incubation: support for the development of new, innovative, technological, creative, and export-orientated companies (admission takes place twice a year – in spring and autumn);

• Large investment loans with capital allowance are suitable for ambitious investments of large market players (details to follow at the end of 2024);

• Programme for foreign filmmaking in Latvia: encourages creative and ambitious film projects to be made in Latvia.

• 20 representative offices across Latvia provide advice on LIAA programmes;

• LIAA export and investment offices in almost 20 countries around the world provide advice on how to export to the most promising export markets;

• 3 LIAA representative offices advise on innovation and technology topics in Brussels, Switzerland and Israel;
