Norwegian releases routes for the winter season 2025-2026
Norwegian opens the sale of flight tickets for the next winter season. From Riga, Norwegian offers direct flights to Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Alicante.
In total we now operate nine routes from Riga in 2025 including our summer program which includes direct flights to Alicante, Split, Burgas and Tivat, in addition to the Scandinavian capitals, says Magnus Thome Maursund, Chief Commercial Officer in Norwegian.
Norwegian operates both a summer and a winter program, switching twice a year, at the end of October and at the end of March, respectively. In a few weeks, the summer program will start with over 340 routes to more than 120 destinations, including a new direct route between Riga and Burgas in Bulgaria.
In 2024, our most popular route from Riga was to Tivat, and in all Norwegian’s network outside the Nordic countries, the most popular route was to London.
Norwegian opened a year-round base at Riga Rix airport in 2024 and the base is manned with 60 cabin crew and 30 pilots. In addition, Norwegian has an office downtown Riga with around 160 staff working in Customer Care, accounting, Revenue accounting, operational procurement, IT and other functions.
