Latvijas Pasts has decided to open accounts in the Postal Payment System for Ukrainian refugees free of charge, and an identity document will be required to open the account. As of March 3, 2022, Latvijas Pasts will not accept money transfers and Western Union money transfers to Russia and Belarus, nor will it pay out money transfers and transfers received from these countries. Both shipments and money transfers are accepted to Ukraine at the same time - Western Union money transfers to and from Ukraine are provided free of charge.
Latvijas Pasts is a payment institution licensed by the Financial and Capital Market Commission, and a payment account in the Postal Payment System allows you to easily receive any type of payment at any post office, make transfers to legal and private accounts at post offices, as well as credit institutions in Latvia and abroad. account cash, pay bills.
