Adsmom: state support as a boost for faster growth

Latvian startup Adsmom is developing a data and artificial intelligence platform for analysing the digital advertising market. The company helps marketing agencies and medium-sized and large brands make data-driven decisions about advertising strategy, budget allocation, and competitor activity on global platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Adsmom focuses almost exclusively on export markets, mainly in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
The Adsmom team is no stranger to cooperation with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA). CEO Kristiāns Lancmanis has used LIAA support before, when he founded his first company as a teenager (LANCMANBAGS.com), and admits that the process has now become significantly simpler. “I can say that the whole process is now simpler and more digitalised than before. If you follow LIAA’s instructions, there are really no problems,” says Kristiāns.
Adsmom was officially accepted into LIAA incubation program in Madona in November 2025, and the company intends to make maximum use of the state support instruments available to it for its development. “As a start-up that has attracted investor funding, LIAA support is very important to us. Most of the investment goes into product development and salaries, and this is where state support allows us to get some of the investment back, freeing up funds for investment in development and marketing,” Kristiāns explains.
He emphasises that this additional “fuel” allows them to understand much more quickly what actually works for customers and, accordingly, to grow the company more rapidly and prepare for the next round of investment.
The entrepreneur is convinced that LIAA support tools should be used by every start-up that has already reached the idea implementation stage. “Applying for the LIAA incubation program or using other state support tools is, in my opinion, a great development accelerator! Why not do it? It's a great opportunity,” says Kristiāns. “Yes, the bureaucracy takes time, but every euro you can recover from your daily marketing or product development costs gives you the opportunity to grow much faster.”
