Latvia–Uzbekistan Trade Mission: Business Cooperation Opportunities in Tashkent

The Latvia–Uzbekistan trade mission is designed to explore new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, strengthen bilateral economic cooperation, and exchange practical business experience. Latvian companies representing a wide range of sectors will be present and available for meetings and discussions with Uzbek partners.
The mission will include companies active in areas such as trade and investment, industry and manufacturing, logistics and transport, agriculture and food processing, energy, green technologies and sustainability, information technologies and innovation, education and science, and related fields.
The opening of the event will be attended by the Minister for Transport of the Republic of Latvia, Atis Švinka, and the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov.
Preliminary programme:
4 March – Arrival in Uzbekistan (Tashkent)
5 March – Meeting of the Latvia–Uzbekistan Intergovernmental Commission
6 March – Business Forum and business networking meetings tailored to the interests of the Latvian business delegation
7 March – Departure to Latvia

The trade mission is organised by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) in cooperation with the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the national investment promotion agency “Invest Uzbekistan”.
The mission is implemented within a programme co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Latvian state budget to support innovative development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Eligible companies may receive financial support and recover up to 60% of certain eligible costs, including part of international travel expenses.
Latvian companies will be on site in Tashkent and welcome the opportunity to meet potential partners, discuss cooperation projects, and explore concrete business collaboration opportunities.
