The Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA), in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 445 of 14 July 2020 "Procedures for Institutions to Post Information on the Internet" (hereinafter - Regulation No. 445), undertakes to make its website accessible.

The website has undergone a simplified accessibility assessment. The method used is the “Guidelines for assessing the impact of compliance with accessibility requirements for institutional websites and substantiating disproportionate burden” prepared by the Ministry of Regional Development and Local Government.
How accessible is this website?
The State Platform for Business Development partially complies with Regulation No. 445 for the reasons listed below.

Non-compliance was found in the main navigation check, form field and error message check, image text alternative check, page title check.
The website started its operations on February 18, 2026, therefore it is constantly being improved. The problems that make accessibility difficult have been identified, and work to eliminate them is in progress.
Some of the website elements that do not meet the testing criteria have already been submitted for development. They will be processed in the next stage of work, when the development of improvements is completed. Those elements that content editors are authorized to correct will be corrected by February 27.
Some of the images lack alternative texts, so people using a screen reader cannot access the information in the image. The principle of robustness referred to in paragraph 22.4 of the Cabinet of Ministers' Regulations is not met. Adding alternative texts to page images has begun.
Audio and video content has not been added to the tested sections.
The alternative text provided for illustrative images could be more detailed and will be improved.
