Announcement for Auction of the Intellectual Property of "Cosmetic product - Cream for Restoring the Skin’s Barrier Function"
Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) is announcing a written auction for the intellectual property of "Cosmetic product - Cream for Restoring the Skin’s Barrier Function" with an upward bidding procedure.
The Object of Auction is an exclusive license for obtaining the right of use of the intellectual property "Cosmetic product - Cream for Restoring the Skin’s Barrier Function" (hereinafter also referred to as Intellectual Property) in relation to the use of the Intellectual Property.
Presentation of intellectual property
Applications for the auction should be submitted in the form of an electronic document by signing it with a secure electronic signature and sending to the e-mail inovacija@rsu.lv no earlier than 11:00 on 5 December 2022, and no later than 11:00 on 7 February 2023.

The initial price of the Object of Auction
- An initial, fixed payment of a total of 3,000 EUR (three thousand euros, 00 cents) (without VAT), and
- an interest payment of 6% (six per cent) of the Licensee’s net turnover of the Products sold during the year.
Time and place of opening of applications: 7 February 2023 at 11:10 on the MS Teams online platform.
The auction participant whose interest payment for the auctioned object is the highest will be recognised as the winner of the auction.
The intellectual property was created within the scope of project No. KC-PI-2017/44 'Cream for Restoring the Skin’s Barrier Function' of Activity 1.2.1.2 'Support for Improvement of Technology Transfer System' of Specific Objective 1.2.1 'To increase Investments of Private Sector in R&D' of the Operational Programme 'Growth and Employment'.
