Valmiera Municipality government announces the first oral auction of development rights for the land plot of Valmiera Industrial Park with the area of 26 ha (cadastral designation 9662 003 0137), to be used as the land for development of industrial facilities. The land plot is deforested and undeveloped, with no built public infrastructure elements and is suitable for innovative entrepreneurs with autonomous supply systems.

By obtaining the right to use a part of the Valmiera Industrial Park territory in an open auction of development rights, entrepreneurs will be able to build internal engineering networks, construct production buildings, as well as carry out landscaping of the territory. The term of the development right agreement is from 60 to 70 years, depending on the size of the tenant's investment.

The development of Valmiera Industrial Park is based on the Valmiera Regional Sustainable Development Strategy 2022-2038, the Valmiera Regional Development Programme 2022-2028 and the Valmiera Industrial Park Development Strategy, which also includes conditions for potential investors, defining sectors of activity, average wages for employees, the need to respect the circulation of materials in production technology or to meet the conditions of climate-neutral and green product production. The auction will take place on 5 July 2024 at 11.00 in the 1st floor hall of the administration building of the Valmiera Municipality, Lāčplēša iela 2, Valmiera, Valmiera Municipality. 

The application for participation in the auction must be submitted to the Valmiera Municipality by 28 June 2024 at 16.00:

  1. by hand at the Document Management and Customer Service Centre of Valmiera Municipality, 2 Lāčplēša Street, Valmiera, Valmiera County, LV-4201, on Mondays from 8.00 to 18.00, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8.00 to 17.00, on Fridays from 8.00 to 16.00; 
  2. by post to the auctioneer at the address Lāčplēša Street 2, Valmiera, Valmiera County., LV-4201 (ensuring that it is received by 28.06.2024 at 16.00) 
  3. or by sending the application electronically, signed with a secure electronic signature, to the municipality's e-mail address:
