The Innovation Voucher Programme offers support for the development of new products or technologies. You can use the voucher for technical and economic feasibility studies, industrial research and experimental development, to strengthen industrial property rights, for industrial design development, testing and certification services, and for other activities.
The programme is co-funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and will make it cheaper to buy new equipment, software, licences, and patents if you work in the field of green innovations and ICT.
If you have set up a start-up, consider using support to attract highly skilled staff. It will cover 45% of the staffing costs to carry out research activities, develop new or significantly improve products or technologies. You can also choose to pay your employees with a convenient fixed payment and get personal income tax credit. The support also helps you to take part in exhibitions and conferences or to visit potential investors or business partners abroad.
If you are planning to develop a new product or technology at your company, contact our technology scouts who will help you find the right research organisation and researcher. If you are a scientist yourself, you can discuss the commercialisation support for scientific ideas that LIAA offers with the scouts in order to turn your idea into a successful product.
At the Technology Business Centre, which LIAA has set up together with its partners, you can acquire in-depth knowledge on developing innovative business ideas, prototyping products, and taking them to market. In addition, you will have the opportunity to receive expert advice and support for prototyping.
